Situation and activities

Tree Tops is situated in six acres of mature woodland. Located between Ross-on-Wye and the Forest of Dean, it is ideal for a wide range of leisure activities e.g walking, cycling, canoeing, bird-watching, caving and fishing. A wealth of local attractions can be found nearby such as Goodrich Castle, the ever-popular 'Go-ape!' and within 30 minutes' drive, the many amenities in Hereford.

We are committed to improving the biodiversity and wildlife habitat at Tree Tops and we also have a large productive organic vegetable garden. We have a certain amount of produce available for guests to buy during the summer and autumn months. If you like home-produced free range eggs then you'll enjoy sampling some from our four feathered ladies here at Tree Tops during your stay - a selection is complimentary on arrival.

Ross-on-Wye is a charming old Herefordshire market town beside the River Wye with good transport links to the M5 and the rest of the country. Herefordshire is a county renowned for its rolling landscapes, ancient woodlands and sites of geological and historical interest. One of the least densely populated areas in England, there is plenty of space to enjoy country walks and other rural pursuits. For more information about the area visit www.wyedeantourism.co.uk or www.rossonwye.com.

The approach to Tree Tops is by way of an unmade rural track. We have no problem negotiating it with a standard car and a Transporter van but it's advisable to take it fairly slowly! See the attached directions for details on our exact location.

Tree Tops is owned and managed by Simon and Marion Eeles who moved to the area in July 2012. They have recently set up their holiday lets and look forward to sharing their beautiful surroundings with you.
